A holistic approach to housing.
1. What program or service do we provide?
We provide safe, stable, and family-focused housing placements for families with young children (prenatal through age 5), using a shared housing model across five homes located in underserved Sacramento zip codes.
The program includes wraparound services such as:
Case management and housing navigation
Transportation to essential appointments
Access to maternal and child wellness services
Emergency response services
Life skills and employment readiness support
Referrals to early education, healthcare, and employment resources
2. Who would the services or programs be for?
The program targets low-income families with children aged prenatal to 5, particularly those:
Experiencing or at risk of homelessness
Facing systemic barriers, displacement, or domestic violence
Located in historically underserved zip codes (95828, 95824, 95820, 95823, 95838, 95660)
EMAG (Empowering Minds Achieving Greatness) brings a strong background in housing navigation and support services for vulnerable populations, including veterans, individuals with mental health challenges, single parents, youth aging out of foster care, and survivors of domestic violence—complementing and enhancing the services provided by Housing Roommates Success Foundation.
